Conwy and Llandudno sit either side of the Conwy estuary, just a few minutes apart, and between them, they hold some of the most romantic corners of North Wales. I live in Llandudno, so these are the places I walk most often.
Conwy by Day: Walls, Castle and Quay
Conwy's medieval town walls are one of the best ways to see the town together. Walk a stretch of them for views over the rooftops, the castle and the estuary. Then head down to the quay, where boats rock on the tide and the light reflects off the water. It is small enough to wander without a plan.

Llandudno's long Victorian promenade curves around the bay between two headlands. Walk it end to end, then stroll out along the pier for a view back towards the town. On a calm day, the sea is glassy and the whole bay feels unhurried.
Up on the Great Orme
The Great Orme rises above the town with wide views of the coast, sheep-grazed slopes and quiet paths. Go early or late in the day for the most peace, and look out over Anglesey and the mountains of Eryri.
Evenings: West Shore Sunsets
For sunset, cross to West Shore, Llandudno's quieter beach. It faces Anglesey and the mouth of the Conwy estuary, so the sun sinks right in front of you.
Beyond the Two Towns
Deganwy, the Conwy Valley and the Carneddau are all close by if you want a change of scene. Couples who want to go further can explore why North Wales for your love story, and anywhere else they choose is possible too.
Marking the Moment
If one of these places feels like yours, it could host a proposal, an elopement, a sunset anniversary or a simple couples shoot. You choose the place, whether it is here or anywhere else, and I take care of the rest.
Two towns, one estuary, and plenty of reasons to stay a little longer. Read the North Wales love story guide for more ideas, or plan your experience from my home ground.
