One of the most common things couples ask me, usually right after the big moment, is "So when do we get our photos?" It's a brilliant question, and after the excitement of a proposal, an elopement or an anniversary, waiting can feel like forever.
So here's everything you receive with Leon Bagnall Experiences, laid out in the order it arrives. No vague promises, no guesswork, just a clear timeline from the day itself to every anniversary after.

Before the Day: Your Words and Plans
Not everything arrives after the big moment. For a guided proposal, the first thing you receive is the love letter we draft and finalise together. For an elopement, it's your ceremony script, co-created with me or kept secret until the day, along with planning support for locations and timings. For a Twilight Ceremony, you'll receive the booking form and resources to make it happen, and then we work together through the months leading up to summer on your script or refreshed vows.
On the Day: Polaroids in Your Hands
The first thing you'll receive is something you can hold. Every experience includes Polaroids handed to you on the day.
At a guided proposal with Where Two Bloom, Polaroids develop in your hands and are tucked inside your love letter. With Elope with Leon, you receive 16 Polaroid photographs on your elopement day, in a beautiful mini album. And at Twilight Ceremonies, your Polaroids are handed to you warm to the touch that same evening, while the sun is still setting.
Straight After an Elopement: Your Gift Bag
Elopement couples also take home a complimentary gift bag. Inside is a presentation box with a copy of your ceremony script and certification, hand wrapped in tissue paper with a red wax seal, along with chocolates, Champagne, your Polaroids and a USB. It's the kind of thing you'll open again on quiet evenings, long after the day.
After an elopement, you'll also receive a handful of sneak peeks to hold you over until your full gallery arrives.
Within 4 Weeks: Your Photographs
Your full gallery of photographs is delivered within 4 weeks. Every image is individually edited to high standards before it's placed into your online album. I shoot with 50mp imagery, so your pictures come to life with true to life colours and real detail, whether you're sharing them online or printing them large for the wall.
Four weeks gives me time to edit each image properly, rather than running everything through a batch filter. It's worth the wait, I promise.
I know how it feels to wait for something you're excited about. That's why I give clear timescales rather than a vague "soon", and it's part of the reason the Polaroids exist at all, so nobody leaves an experience empty handed.
Within 8 Weeks: Your Video
If your experience includes video, it's delivered within 8 weeks. I record ceremonies with a DJI Pocket 3 creator combo, with a DJI mic clipped onto my ceremony folder to pick up our voices. That means you'll be able to hear every word of your vows, readings and speeches again, exactly as they were spoken. It's a lovely thing to have, especially for family who couldn't be there. For Life: Your Love Story Album
Your photos don't just land in a download link and disappear. They go into your Love Story Album, which is online and printed. It collects moments from your proposal, elopement and anniversary celebrations and brings them into one album that never expires.
You can add your own photos too, from holidays, everyday adventures and family moments, so it becomes one big timeline of your story. It's the place your photos stay together, rather than spread across phones, emails and old hard drives. I've written about it in more detail in what is a Love Story Album?
Every Anniversary: The Love Story Registry
The last thing you receive arrives a year later, and then, if you choose, every year after. The Love Story Registry marks your anniversary with a commemorative letter from me, Polaroids and postcard sized imagery handpicked from your album, and wild flowers delivered to your door.
Your first year is free. After that, there's no recurring billing. You simply pay for the year you'd like to mark. I add your anniversary to my calendar, so when the date comes round, it's covered and you can simply relax.
One Album, One Registry, Every Chapter
Every experience grants the Love Story Album and the Love Story Registry, and both carry over from one experience to the next. So if your story begins with a proposal, continues with an elopement and comes back for a sunset anniversary, it all lives in the same place, captured by the same person.
